Fishing is popular in two places around the Gorge:
1. When water levels are high, such as in the Spring, the Red River itself is a great place for anglers. In the areas
where the Red River runs alongside routes 77 and 715, you can find pull offs to park and descend to the river bank.
2. Mill Creek Lake is also popular with fishermen. Small boats with electric motors only are allowed, or just fish from the bank, a
trail encircles the lake. To reach Mill Creek Lake, travel South on route 15 from the rest area, it's in Natural Bridge State
Park and is on your left.
