Cincinnati Parks
Cincinnati parks have free admission and offer a lot to see and do. For wilderness hiking, our top pick is
Mount Airy Forest. Our top pick for
sight-seeing is Yeatman's Cove downtown on the Ohio River.
Hamilton County Parks
Hamilton County Parks require a $3 annual pass that attaches to your windshield and gives you entrance to all
of their parks. For nature viewing, nothing beats
Miami Whitewater Forest. Also, Farbach-Werner
Nature Preserve hosts many free activities throughout the year such as their Walnut festival and Maple Syrup Festival.
Other Parks
For a unique sight-seeing park, visit the park at Lunken Airport. They have a golf course and paved
bike & jogging trail that encircle the airport, providing close-up views of airplane, jet, and
helicopter take-offs and landings.
The Loveland Trail follows an old railroad bed that
has since been paved to allow walking, biking, and roller-blading.
The trail follows along the Little Miami River and passes through several small town settings.
