The closest large city to Hocking Hills is Columbus, Ohio. The smaller cities of Athens and Lancester are near by. From Cincinnati, take I-71 North to exit 65 (route 35). Proceed East on route 35 to Chillicothe, then North on 159 for a short distance, then turn onto 180 East. Follow 180 East past Adelphia, where you will see Route 56. Take 56 East until you enter the Hocking Hills area. If you are coming from Columbus, either take Route 23 south to Route 56, then proceed on 56 as above, or take Route 33 South to Route 664 South.
